Past Performers:

Kissing Pat

Bio: Each member brings a different influence to the table...be it the sultry sounds of a grand piano, the Muppet-like wailing of the drums or the hard-rockin' slam of the guitar...Kissing Pat is influenced by music itself.

Brian Kittrell

Bio: Brian Kittrell incorporates styles ranging from Singer-Songwriter to Pop Blues when performing with the Brian Kittrell Trio. In his performances, Brian brings a fresh mix of original music and takes on classic songs with an energy and passion that is rarely seen in local venues.

Alison Knaack
Folk

Bio: Alison is a compulsive songwriter. No, really, she is. That’s why she enjoys performing so much. It’s a chance to share her music with other people who appreciate that sort of thing. As a native of the Chicago area, Alison came to the University of Cincinnati for Industrial Design, and it just so happened that her guitar came with her. Check out her folk style of original music.

Yokefellow

Bio: Yokefellow members Rhett Harkins and Kristen Chuang create an indie/folk/blues sound with powerful vocals, six-string finger pickin', harmonica melodies, and an array of original works and re-created covers. Come on and absorb the noise.

Aaron Scott

From 1996 to 2000 he performed in central Ohio with the three-piece cover band “Response.” A formally trained guitarist, Aaron later spent a year studying music performance and theory at Sinclair Community College in Dayton.

Bio: J.J. Hammerle is a singer/song writer from Novi, Michigan. Before moving to Cincinnati, he spent two years in Chicago working for the ad agency Leo Burnett and playing at venues on Chicago's west side. He currently plays every Sunday night at Kaldi's in Over the Rhine.

Bryan Sespico
Folk, Bluegrass

DJ Clockwork
DJ

Bio: For years, Garrett, also known as DJ Colckwork, has been engulfed in all types of music such as Rap, Jazz, Rhythm and Blues, Rock and Roll, and even country. Music is his love, so when he bought his first set of turntables at the age of 15, it felt like a marriage. Without a manual or directions, he taught himself how to spin music. Since that day, Garrett has been spinning music at various nightclub, bars, and art galleries in the Greater Cincinnati Area.

C
hick Pimp
Alternative Jazz

Bio: Dubbed "an improvisational frenzy" by the UC News Record, Chick Pimp is an alternative jazz band that is neither "fusion" nor "jamband". Three months into its conception, the band was thrown into the Cincinnati music festival frenzy performing at Ohmstead and Adjust Your Eyes in 2006. The band made an immediate impact as musicians that can improvise, but has since proven to be much more than an improv troupe. Home-based electronica compositions and heavily-folk influenced songwriting have taken the band to new heights. The band is planning to release dual EPs in 2008, "The Juan Cosby Sessions" and "The Infinite Ozone Jazz Midi Orchestra".
