Possum Bottom Minstrels
February 13, 7 - 9 p.m.
From among the dense forests and scattered barns of the southwestern Ohio countryside, the Possum Bottom Minstrels have emerged to incorporate traditional folkways with modern musical styling into one conglomerated, foot-stompin, moonshine-guzzlin, cornbread and butter beans bustin’ hootenanny. They’re a campfire, smoky bar, and barn dance band that tells stories, both new and old, with a traditional twist and a splash of originality. So grab your jug of wine or fire up your still, carry the family up over the hill, and allow the Possum Bottom Minstrels to entertain you with melodies that are rich and harmonies bold, while we all have a real humdinger of a time.
February 20, 7 - 9 p.m.
The Midwesterns is a collection of independent artists unassociated with formal record labels and professional recording techniques. Every performance is an original aesthetic musical experience. Visit lightninghorseindustries.com to see the context in which The Midwesterns was birthed.
