Adam arrived at the University of Cincinnati in October 2013. Prior to his role at UC, Adam was the Director of University Events & Scheduling at Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT, Assistant Director for UMBC Events & Operations at the University of Maryland Baltimore County in Baltimore, MD, and the Director of Operations at Riverside Golf Club. Adam has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Communication and a Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from Ohio University. With over 10 years of events and operations experience, Adam’s expertise is in strategic and operational planning, leveraging technology in event operations, and organizational development.
Assistant Director, MainStreet Operations
Ryan began his career at UC in 2002, working as a student employee for the UC Bookstores, a Lead Programmer for MainStreet Operations, and a Building Supervisor for the Campus Recreation Center. Ryan was recognized in 2007 as the first recipient of the newly created UC Student Employee of the Year. Ryan holds a BFA in Electronic Media from the College Conservatory of Music. Ryan began his professional career working in operations management as an Executive Team Leader for Target from 2007 to 2013. A Bearcat through and through, he jumped at the opportunity to come back to the University of Cincinnati in 2013 in hopes of giving back to the university community that has given so much to him over the years. Ryan enjoys traveling with his wife Melissa, and playing with his son Owen, and his dog Haas. Ryan’s hobbies include playing guitar, piano, and drums, as well as spending time in the great outdoors fishing, kayaking, camping, and hiking.

Housing, Food & Retail
Todd Duncan oversees the financial, facility and administrative functions of the university’s housing system and dining program. Additionally, Mr. Duncan is responsible for the UC Bookstores, Vending, Bearcat Card, MainStreet Cinema & Connection Center operations and the banking partnership with PNC. Mr. Duncan has served in similar positions at Northern Kentucky University, University of Central Oklahoma and Lindsey Wilson College. Mr. Duncan began his career at Western Kentucky University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Social Studies and a Master’s of Arts in Education. In 2012, Mr. Duncan received the “Certified Auxiliary Services Professional” accreditation from NACAS. In his role at the University of Cincinnati, Mr. Duncan’s operations have generated over $56 million in annual revenues.
Mark "Sol" Solomon, M.Ed.
Associate Director, Retail Services
‘The Administration’ is a group Sol has proudly belonged to in many ways, on multiple campuses. Since his late-2014 addition to the Campus Services team, Sol’s work at UC has included diverse responsibilities including the Bearcat Card, Vending, the MainStreet Cinema, and a variety of contractual relationships between UC and its partners. Outside of work, Sol does creative and playful stuff with friends and family, and enjoys the simplicity of rural tiny-house living.
Coordinator, Building Services & Receiving
Pat has enjoyed working at UC since 1995 and has been with Mainstreet Operations since 2008. He oversees everything from events held in TUC to TUC/ SSLC facilities and the TUC receiving dock. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from Northern Kentucky University and away from work enjoys spending time with his family. Pat’s hobbies include fishing and golfing; he is also an avid photographer and likes to spend time in his vegetable garden.
Manager, MainStreet Connection Center & MainStreet Cinema
Serving the University since 1986 at the Campus Information Center, Janet oversees the daily operations of the MainStreet Connection Center, which includes campus information, Bearcat Card customer service and the media systems located on MainStreet that assist in promoting campus events. In her free time she loves to support the Bearcats, treasure hunting for antiques and spending time with her family and friends.
