There is a campus deadline by which students must apply for the awards described below. Please work closely with the Office of Nationally Competitive Awards in order to build the best application possible prior to the campus deadline.

Fulbright The Fulbright Program operates in more than 155 countries worldwide and has provided participants the opportunity to study, teach, or conduct research in each others' countries and exchange ideas. There are a variety of awards, including the U.S. Student Program for Study, Research and Arts, the English Teaching Assistant Program (ETA), the Fulbright-mtvU Fellowship, the Public Policy Fellowship Program, the Fulbright Summer Institute, etc. Dependent upon the award for which you apply. Marshall Marshall Scholarships enable intellectually distinguished Americans to earn postgraduate degrees in the United Kingdom, gain an appreciation for contemporary Britain, and act as ambassadors. Senior year (student must be in last year of undergraduate study or a recent alum). U, A

Rhodes Rhodes Scholarships are awarded to scholars with promise to play an influential role in bettering society; scholars are intellectually, morally, and physically capable of leadership in any field. Goldwater The purpose of the foundation is to provide a continuing source of highly qualified scientists, mathematicians, and engineers by awarding scholarships to college students who intend to pursue careers in these fields. Boren Boren Scholarships provide opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students to study a foreign language in world regions critical to U.S. interests and underrepresented in study abroad, such as Africa, Asia, Latin American, and the Middle East.

Udall The foundation awards scholarships and honorable mentions to sophomores and juniors committed to careers related to the environment, tribal public policy, or Native American health care.
