The Stories Behind the Grins of UC s 2009 Grads
UCs All-University Commencement takes place at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, in Fifth Third Arena at Shoemaker Center. The Doctoral Hooding and Masters Recognition Ceremony will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, June 12, in Fifth Third Arena at Shoemaker Center.
Ryan Rosensweig of Clifton, a Walnut Hills High School graduate, Carl H. Lindner Honors-PLUS scholar and University Honors student whos earning his bachelors degree in marketing, sustainable urban engineering and design intelligence from the UC College of Business, will deliver the university oration for the Saturday morning Commencement ceremony. Rosensweig is also one of three graduates to receive UCs Presidential Leadership Medal of Excellence. The other two graduates are Sonya Mueller of Mason, Ohio, and Ashley Verhoff of Kalida, Ohio.
The university oration for the afternoon ceremony will be delivered by Johnathan F. Moor of Canton, Ohio, a Canton Central Catholic High School graduate and University Honors student who is earning his bachelors degree in civil engineering (concentrated in environmental engineering) from the UC College of Engineering. Moor will begin graduate studies in Environmental Economics and Policy at Duke University in the fall.
