 Worried about swine flu? Two UC experts discuss health and public safety aspects of preparing for a global epidemic as the UC Faculty Club kicks off its annual Faculty Club Speaker Series.

UC ingot   Each year the University of Cincinnati Faculty Club offers a luncheon Speaker Series to enlighten and engage. This year's opening session is one not to be missed.

What: John Andrews, MD, MPH, assistant senior vice president of University Health Services, and Captain Jeff Corcoran of the University of Cincinnati Police Department will discuss health and public safety aspects of preparing for a global epidemic. 
Where: Richard E. Lindner Varsity Village, Faculty Club, 8th Floor Board Room
When: 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2009

  • buffet served at 11:30
  • presentation at noon

The Faculty Club overlooks Nippert Stadium and is often open for dinner before home games.
The UC Faculty Club is in the Richard E. Lindner Varsity Village.

The deli lunch is complimentary, courtesy of the Faculty Club Board of Governors. 

Non-members of the UC Faculty Club may attend one session of the Faculty Club Speaker Series.

About Membership in the UC Faculty Club
University of Cincinnati faculty faculty, staff and administration are eligible for membership. Employees who retire from the university and who have paid dues for five years immediately preceding retirement are eligible for a complimentary lifetime membership. Associate memberships are also available. 
 
Reservations for the presentation and free lunch are required by Oct. 22. Call 513-556-4154 while openings are still available.
