Each year, the College of Business Board of Governors takes time to recognize business alumni who are making a lasting impact not just in the business community, but in the world. The 2010 awards will be no exception.
The Carl H. Lindner Award for Outstanding Business Achievement is given each year to a UC College of Business graduate who best demonstrates outstanding achievement in the field of business as represented by the recipients entrepreneurial spirit, commitment to business and community, and achievement of the highest level of success within ones profession.
This year the award is being presented to two outstanding members and leaders of the global business community: Carl H. Lindner III and S. Craig Lindner, both graduates of UCs College of Business.
Carl H. Lindner III graduated from UC with a bachelors of business administration in finance in 1975. Lindner is co-president and co-chief executive officer of American Financial Group, Inc.

Im very pleased to represent all past winners of the Carl H. Barrett (UC College of Business 71), chairman, president and CEO of Western & Southern Financial Group, and the 1999 recipient of the Carl H. Lindner Award for Outstanding Business Achievement.
