'Fragility of Spirit' Exhibit by Kelly Frigard in Gallery at UC Clermont College

Fragility of Spirit

, a solo exhibit presented by Kelly Frigard, will be featured in the Park National Bank Art Gallery at UC Clermont College from January 28 – February 24.

Fragility of Spirit

is an entire body of work which uses white as the foundational color to reflect the theme of childhood, toys, animals, the imagination, the world of play, and the fragility of life. It includes embroidered textiles, stuffed and ceramic animals, sculptural wings and dresses using felted wool, rabbit fur, and found fabrics. “

Fragility of Spirit

addresses life’s large questions about sacrifice, transcendence and spirituality through fiber, a tender medium,” said Frigard.

Meet the artist at her reception on February 2 from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Frigard has shown her work at the Cohen Gallery at Xavier University and the Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft in Louisville. She participated in the following solo exhibitions in 2010,
