UC Student-Organized Cincinnati Dance Marathon Declared a Success
Student organizers of the fourth-annual Cincinnati Dance Marathon are reporting growing success in the number of participants as well as dollars raised to benefit Childrens Miracle Network Hospitals. Cincinnati Childrens Hospital Medical Center is a member of the network.
Cincinnati Dance Marathon chair Chris Hais, a fifth-year UC finance major, says last weekends dance marathon in the Campus Recreation Center raised more than $26,000 and registered more than 820 dancers. Hais adds that student organizers are seeing a growing number of families taking part in the event.
The Childrens Miracle Network is an international nonprofit organization that raises funds and awareness for 170 pediatric hospitals, including Cincinnati Childrens Hospital Medical Center.
