Sweet Success: Join Us for Free Ice Cream on Faculty/Staff Appreciation Day Aug. 14

   We set the bar high and you reached even higher – now it’s time to celebrate!

As President Williams has announced, more than 55% of UC employees gave to the 2012 Proudly Cincinnati Faculty/Staff Campaign, moving far beyond the previous record and surpassing his ambitious target of 50% employee participation as outlined in the UC2019> Strategic Plan. Equally as exciting, your collective support helped reach (and exceed) President Williams’ goal three full years ahead of schedule, pointing to a committed workforce that supports UC’s missions far beyond the classroom, office and laboratory.

It’s important to recognize this accomplishment and celebrate the generosity of faculty and staff across UC’s colleges, units and campuses. And while a pat on the back and heartfelt ‘thank you’ is good, free dessert is even better – so make plans to join us for Faculty/Staff Appreciation Day on August 14!

An ice cream truck stocked with soft serve ice cream and shaved ice will be making the rounds at four different campus locations, giving you the perfect excuse to duck out of the office for a few minutes and beat the heat with friends and colleagues.

Look for the giant ice cream cone on August 14 at the following times and locations:

UC Blue Ash, 10-10:45 a.m.
Drop off circle, in front of UC Blue Ash

Main Campus, 12-1:15 p.m.
McMicken Circle, in front of University Plaza

UC East Campus, 2-3:00 p.m.
In front of the CARE/Crawley Building

UC Clermont, 4:15-5:00 p.m.
Drop off circle, in front of UC Clermont
