UC ingot   There is no official game clock, but time is running out on the 2012 presidential campaigns. And like any good sports fan knows, there’s nothing like a tailgate party to spark excitement for a winner-take-all grudge match.

So whether you’re rooting for Team Obama or Team Romney – or you just want to have fun as the results filter in – the University of Cincinnati’s Department of Political Science invites you to an Election Night Watch party at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday in the Bearcat Lounge at the Marriott Kingsgate at 151 Goodman Drive. The lounge will be offering its typical football tailgating specials on food and beverages. Political science faculty members will be in attendance to offer analysis on the election.

Ohio polls close at 7:30 p.m., so be sure to vote before attending. There will be a passenger van shuttle to take students back to main campus beginning at 11 p.m.

For more information, contact Political Science Department Head Richard Harknett at 513-556-3314 or 513-556-3300.
