President Ono's Statement on State Funding
UC's president comments on the state's proposed new formula for funding higher education. The proposed formula is tied to graduation rates.
“I support and applaud Governor Kasich for the steps being taken today which will make Ohio a leader in the nation by putting students at the center. We have a responsibility to assist our students to reach their goals and cross the finish line to receive their degree. In completing their degree, they are then poised to be leaders in the workforce and innovation economy of Ohio and our nation.”
