Today is the official start of the 2012-13 Faculty/Staff campaign for Proudly Cincinnati. To show your pride for the university, make a gift to UC from March 4 through June 2013.
Thanks to the generous support of more than 92,000 donors,
including numerous University of Cincinnati faculty and staff like you, the Proudly Cincinnati
campaign recently reached a milestone that placed UC among a prestigious one percent of colleges and universities to raise $1 billion or more in a single
campaign. This is a point of pride for everyone in the UC community, and an
accomplishment that could not have been possible without your support.
The milestone of $1 billion is evidence of a growing culture of philanthropy at UC, one that will reap many returns now and in the future. Faculty and staff collectively contributed more than $57 million to the campaign since 2005. The entire UC community will benefit from increased student and faculty support, new and improved facilities, and investments in research and health programs.
Building on Momentum
Today, as we officially kick-off this year’s Faculty and Staff Campaign, we encourage you to help us build on this momentum and make an even bigger impact on the university by giving back to UC through the campaign. Every gift is important to the UC community. And as always, you can designate your tax-deductible gift to the UC program or cause of your choice.
This year, your gift will make an even bigger impact as the university has rallied around a new goal of finishing out the campaign with 100,000 donors. This would be yet another remarkable milestone, and we need the help of everyone in the UC community to be a part of this goal.
