New York Times Reviews Film Co-Directed by UC Fashion Alumna

UC 2010 fashion alumna Andrea Sisson co-directed a film, "I Send You This Place," that was just reviewed in The New York Times. According to that review, the film presents Iceland’s evocative landscape "as a way to understand, or even feel, the cognitive blizzard of mental illness."

UC ingot   When pursuing her fashion degree at the University of Cincinnati, 2010 graduate Andrea Sisson was able to travel to Iceland where she worked with noted fashion designer Sruli Recht thanks to UC's nationally top-ranked cooperative education program.

Later, Sisson, from Western Hills in Cincinnati, went back to Iceland having won a prestigious Fulbright award allowing her to return where, according to previously published materials, she and her husband, Peter Ohs, wanted to make a film as an outcome of the Fulbright grant.
