UC Clermont Hosts 4th Annual Volley for the Cure on Oct. 4

UC Clermont College will host the fourth annual Volley for the Cure at 6 p.m., Friday, Oct. 4. The event will be a fundraiser for breast cancer research. UC Clermont Athletics will accept donations at the door with all proceeds benefiting the Susan G. Komen Foundation Cincinnati.
The 2013 Volley for the Cure shirts are available for $10 each, proceeds will go to Susan G. Komen For The Cure Foundation, Greater Cincinnati. Bracelets are also available for a $1 donation. The Lady Cougars invite the community to come out and watch some great volleyball and support a great cause. The Cougars play in the Student Activities Center located at UC Clermont, 4200 Clermont College Drive in Batavia.
On Friday night, Southern State comes to town for an important Ohio Collegiate Athletic Conference (OCAC) contest. A win in one of the remaining two conference games gives the OCAC regular season title to the Cougars.
On Saturday, UC Clermont will host Sinclair Community College in one of the highlight matches of the home schedule. Sinclair comes into the contest with an outstanding team and a 19-2 record. First serve is 1 p.m.
