UC ingot   With more than $7,000,000 raised for student scholarships, professorships, programmatic support and facilities enhancements, the UC community certainly has something for which to be proud. On Wednesday, Oct. 2, current and retired faculty and staff members gathered for the 4th annual Loyalty Society luncheon to celebrate the tremendous impact made on the university through the 2012-2013 faculty and staff giving campaign.

The Loyalty Society Luncheon serves as a time to recognize employees for going above-and-beyond their daily duties to support the priorities of the university. In fact, many of the donors have been giving for at least 10 years, 20 year and 30 years, and a some have been generously giving in excess of 40 years!

Nearly 4,800 current and retired employees made gifts to this year’s efforts. And it’s thanks to those generous donations that students like Alan McQueary, Bhavik Modi and Janae Collier-Stone get to experience all that UC has to offer.
