The Department of Aerospace Engineering and Engineering Mechanics will host a special seminar at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 22, in the Engineering Research Center, Room 427. Guest speaker, Mason Peck, NASA chief technologist, will speak on "NASA Technology Investments: Building Our Future in Space.”

As the chief technology advocate, Peck helps communicate how NASA technologies benefit space missions and the day-to-day lives of Americans. Peck has a broad background in aerospace technology, built upon nearly 20 years of experience in industry and academia. He has worked with NASA as an engineer on a variety of technology programs, including the Tracking and Data Relay Satellite System and Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellites. 

Please join the Department of Aerospace Engineering and Engineering Mechanics for this exciting seminar on the future of space exploration, science and technology. All are welcome to attend.

A reception will be held prior to the seminar beginning at 10:30 a.m. in the foyer area outside of ERC 427.
