'Pareidolia: New Paintings' by Zachary Coneybeer Featured in Park National Bank Art Gallery at UC Clermont

Pareidolia: New Paintings by Zach Coneybeer will be featured in the Park National Bank Art Gallery at UC Clermont College Jan. 6 – 27 with an opening reception to be held on Saturday, Jan. 11 from 7-9 p.m. The exhibition and reception are free and open to the public.

“Each painting is objectively a distilled composition of color and form, where the content is left for the viewer to decide. This can be best expressed through the psychological phenomenon of pareidolia where vague and randomized stimulus are perceived as significant data and apophenia, or the experience of seeing meaningful patterns or connections in random or meaningless data,” said Coneybeer, who is currently a resident of Columbus.

The Park National Bank Art Gallery is located in the Snyder building on the UC Clermont College campus in Batavia at 4200 Clermont College Drive. Summer gallery hours are Monday-Thursday 7:30 a.m. – 7 p.m., Friday 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. The gallery is closed weekends.
