UC President Ono Visits Clermont County
UC President Santa Ono visited Clermont County on Friday, Feb. 7 and made appearances at the Clermont Chamber, UC Clermont and the Clermont County Airport.
President Ono was the keynote speaker at the Clermont Chamber of Commerce Business Awards luncheon. He spoke about the vital connect between the business community and the University of Cincinnati and thanked local leaders for their support of Clermont College. He also met Chamber of Commerce Scholarship recipient and UC Clermont Student Trevor Heery, who also spoke at the event.
The next leg of his Clermont County day brought him to UC Clermont College where he held a question-and-answer session with approximately 100 students, faculty and staff on topics ranging from faculty union negotiations, to expanded academic offerings to Twitter.

President Ono ended his day with a flight over UC Clermont, UC East, UC Blue Ash and UC Clifton with Eric Radtke, Chief Instructor of Aviation at UC Clermont College and Vice President at Sportys Pilot Shop. He earned a First Flight certificate.
