University of Cincinnati Gains Funding in State Capital Process
University of Cincinnati President Santa Ono praised the states capital process as fair, collaborative, and efficient for higher education in Ohio.
He thanked both the Governor and members of the General Assembly for proposing and voting in favor of the following UC projects that will receive funding:
- UCs Medical Sciences Building - $28.8 million for renovation and expansion;
- Health Professions Building/Wherry Hall renovation $8 million for rehabilitation of the structure;
- Muntz Hall (UC Blue Ash) -- $1 million for rehabilitation;
- Walters Hall (UC Blue Ash) -- $1.17 million for roof restoration;
- Edith Peters Jones & Snyder (UC Clermont) -- $1.75 million for mechanical & electrical infrastructure improvements.

Queen City Clay on display at UC Clermont

Artists from Cincinnati-based Queen City Clay will display their work in a new exhibit, “Eighteen Years in Service,” April 1-June 27 in the University of Cincinnati Clermont College Art Gallery. The artists will also be on hand for a reception Friday, April 12, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. All UC Clermont Art Gallery events are free and open to the public.
