UC Business Student to Represent Six States in Professional Education Association
A University of Cincinnati student has been selected to represent Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin on the CASE (Council for Advancement and Support of Education) ASAP (Affiliated Student Advancement Programs) executive board.
Katie Fisher, a third-year student studying accounting and finance in the Carl H. Lindner College of Business, will represent CASE ASAPs Great Lakes District V for two consecutive years. CASE ASAP aims to increase student participation in alumni relations, communications, fundraising and marketing.
"I am honored to represent the University of Cincinnati as the CASE ASAP District V Representative, Fisher said. I look forward to getting to know more about each institution in the district and to increasing communication among these schools and with the CASE ASAP board.
In her role, Fisher will be responsible for communicating with member organizations, managing the awards process, assisting in planning the district conference and participating in bi-monthly board meetings. Fisher has been a member of UC Alumni Associations Student Alumni Council (SAC) since January 2013. She is also a member of Delta Sigma Pi and Lindner Women in Business.
