The Bearcats will face the Miami University RedHawks in the Battle for the Victory Bell. The game is one of college football's most historic rivalries, dating back to 1888. Renovations to Nippert Stadium on UC's campus require the football team's 2014 home games to be played downtown at Paul Brown Stadium, home of the Cincinnati Bengals.

A week's worth of special activities will be held on and around campus leading up to the weekend's highlight events along The Banks area downtown. The "Homecoming Zinzinnati!"-themed parade will bring a Bavarian Bearcat flourish to Freedom Way when it gets rolling in the hours leading up to kickoff on Sept. 20.
Homecoming cheerleaders
There will be lots to cheer about as UC's Homecoming heads downtown on Sept. 20. The parade will run along The Banks area, and the football game will be held in Paul Brown Stadium.

The game time is dictated by television coverage and will be announced at a later date. Other standout activities include the Homecoming Pep Rally the night of Sept. 19 on Fountain Square and pre-game tailgating outside the stadium. More information on tailgating and other game-day activities is available online from UC Athletics.
