New Student Information System Has A New Name
The Student Information System project team at the University of Cincinnati is pleased to announce that the name of the new SIS will be Catalyst.
Four focus groups comprised of students, faculty, staff and SIS project team leads participated in the naming selection process for the new system. Nine potential names were presented to each group for commentary, input and voting, with Catalyst chosen as the official name.
Literally meaning something that makes change happen or brings about an event, Catalysts mission is to drive the student experience forward and will provide improved functionality and deliver enhanced services for UC students, faculty and staff. Catalyst will support our university-wide third-century goals.
Below is the newly designed web banner for Catalyst.
