UC Communications Department Celebrates 50 Years
More than 150 people celebrated the University of Cincinnatis Department of Communications 50th anniversary this past weekend with an event at the Cincinnati Zoo. Alumni, students, as well as current and former faculty members were on hand, along with Lucy the Bearcat, to mark the occasion.
The event was also an opportunity to honor the recently named 50 Communication Alumni Champions - individuals who have graduated with a bachelors or masters in communication who have gone on to achieve success in their careers, have made a big a difference in their local communities or have provided significant support to UC or the department. Honorees from around the country were in attendance, coming from as far away as Los Angeles, Washington, DC and Atlanta.
