Annual Benefits Enrollment Ends on Nov. 30
The University of Cincinnatis Annual Enrollment period began on Nov. 1 and ends on Nov. 30. If you havent done so already, please take a few minutes and complete your 2015 enrollment.
You will make your enrollment elections online using UC Flex Employee Self Service (ESS) located at

In 2015, you will have a choice of two medical plans the
/Health Savings Account and the
(currently named POS). The plans and employee costs will remain the same in 2015.
UCs dental plan carrier in 2015 will continue to be Humana. The plans and employee costs will remain the same in 2015.
Changes for 2015
- The HMO and First 1000 Plans will no longer be available.
- Anthem will replace Humana as the medical and pharmacy plan claims administrator. You can learn more about Anthem online: http://www.uc.edu/hr/2015-health-plan/anthem.

After earning a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering in Nepal, Sameer Pokhrel came to the United States to further his education. From an early age, he had a lifelong fascination with aviation. As an adult, he transformed this fascination into a career, pursuing a doctoral degree in aerospace engineering at the University of Cincinnati's historic program. Here, he has succeeded in research, instruction, and was recently named Graduate Student Engineer of the Month by the College of Engineering and Applied Science.
