Jan. 8 and Jan. 22 Wine & Spirits Tastings: Coffee and Wine

Wine & Spirits Tastings take place every first and fourth Thursday, with the first spirit served at 5:30 p.m. Wine & Spirits Tastings include a flight of four wines and hors d’oeuvres for $20 per person.

Spring 2015 Wine & Spirits Tastings:

  • Jan. 8 & 22        Coffee & Wine
  • Feb. 5 & 26       Wine, Cheese & Chocolate
  • March 5 & 26    New Zealand

Mick & Mack’s Chef’s Tables take place every third Thursday, with the first course served at 5:30 p.m. The three-course meal is paired with three distinct wines or spirits for $20 per person.

Spring 2015 Chef’s Tables:

  • Jan. 15        Bacon Bites with Chef Jonathan Hunt
  • Feb. 19       Bourbon with Chef Geno Svec
  • March 19    Hawaiian with Chef Kiril Gallovitch

After earning a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering in Nepal, Sameer Pokhrel came to the United States to further his education. From an early age, he had a lifelong fascination with aviation. As an adult, he transformed this fascination into a career, pursuing a doctoral degree in aerospace engineering at the University of Cincinnati's historic program. Here, he has succeeded in research, instruction, and was recently named Graduate Student Engineer of the Month by the College of Engineering and Applied Science.
