#2: How Do I Embed Kaltura Media into My Bb Course?

Step 1: Navigate to the location where you would like your video to appear (i.e. learning module, blog, discussion board, etc.). This is literally anywhere that you can access the text editor.

A. Select the Mashups icon in the bottom row of the toolbar. (Note: if you only see the first row of buttons, click the double chevron button at the top right to expand the toolbar.)

B. Select Kaltura Media

Step 2: The Search for a Kaltura Media window will appear. Under each video you will see two buttons:

A. Click Preview to watch any video prior to embedding it.

B. Click Select to choose the video to embed.

(Note: Although you can embed multiple videos, you must do it one at a time.)

Step 3: After selecting a video to upload, the Create Mashup Item window will appear. Here you will have the option to preview the video again and to change what information will be displayed in the course. Click Submit to complete the task.

Step 4: Your video should now appear in the text editor. Finish filling out the Content Information and other fields and then click Submit.

He also felt it was time for a faculty member to create a solution based on knowledge and experience.

What if reading could be made easier for FREE?

Accessibility
RESCHEDULED  DUE TO UNIVERSITY CLOSING
Watch for updated time/location.

Jon McPeters, Territory Director for texthelp, will present a webinar on getting started with Read&Write Gold, software primarily used to accommodate persons with disabilities such as Dyslexia, Reading Comprehension and/or Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) that is free to the UC community.

Read&Write Gold is a powerful tool that will offer accessibility in Microsoft Word, PDFs, Internet Explorer and more. If you need documents read aloud, or could benefit from visual/talking dictionaries, speech input or would like your email read to you for greater clarity and understanding, Read&Write could help.
