Dr. Perry Sampson
Creator, Echo360 LectureTools
Dr. Samson is a professor at the University of Michigan. He created LectureTools as a way to increase student engagement and improve the student experience. He wanted to identify at-risk students earlier, and know whether they were participating or retaining the information being presented. He also felt it was time for a faculty member to create a solution based on knowledge and experience.
Jon Bergmann
Chief Learning Officer, FlippedClass.com
Jon Bergmann is a teacher who used to love being the center of the classroom. But he gave it up when he saw how engaged his students became in the learning process when he began flipping his instruction.
He is considered one of the pioneers of Flipped Learning and now shares his passion for learner-centered classrooms with educators around the globe.

Reading and Writing Gold
What if reading could be made easier for FREE?
RESCHEDULED DUE TO UNIVERSITY CLOSING
Watch for updated time/location.
Jon McPeters, Territory Director for texthelp, will present a webinar on getting started with Read&Write Gold, software primarily used to accommodate persons with disabilities such as Dyslexia, Reading Comprehension and/or Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) that is free to the UC community.
Read&Write Gold is a powerful tool that will offer accessibility in Microsoft Word, PDFs, Internet Explorer and more. If you need documents read aloud, or could benefit from visual/talking dictionaries, speech input or would like your email read to you for greater clarity and understanding, Read&Write could help.
