UC Marketing Professor Earns National Award for Innovative Teaching
Jane Sojka, marketing professor at the University of Cincinnati Carl H. Lindner College of Business, is the 2016 winner of the Solomon-Marshall-Stuart Award for Innovative Excellence in Marketing Education.
The award, given by the American Marketing Association (AMA) Teaching and Learning Special Interest Group, Pearson Prentice Hall and textbook authors Solomon, Marshall and Stuart, is given annually to recognize innovative excellence in marketing education.
Sojka was acknowledged by the group for launching a professional selling course that focuses solely on recruiting women to help them overcome the fear of failure and gain confidence.
She received the award and check for $1,500 on Aug. 6 at the groups summer educators meeting in Atlanta, Georgia.
