Do You Have the #MissingType? Hoxworth Campaign Recruits Blood Donors

Hoxworth Blood Center, University of Cincinnati has joined the National #MissingType campaign to bring awareness of the need for blood donors in the Tri-State and around the country.

On Monday, the blood center

alerted the community

to the missing letters A, B, and O in their logo and signage. Today it is revealed that the missing letters represent the blood types A, B and O. A number of high-profile brands, individuals and organizations are backing the campaign, by removing letters. The Cincinnati Reds including the #MissingType campaign during the Aug. 15 game by removing letters from the names of the starting lineup.
