Nov. 2 Panel Discussion Set to Discuss "Syria and Iraq: Crisis and Response"
University of Cincinnati and Xavier University faculty and doctoral students will participate in a panel discussion titled "Syria and Iraq: Crisis and Response" from
3-5 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 2,
in Room 417 ABC in UC's Tangeman University Center.
Speakers during the event include
- Waleed el-Ansary, chair of Islamic Studies at Xavier University
- Elizabeth Frierson, associate professor of history and director of Middle East Studies, University of Cincinnati
- Anwar Mhajne, UC doctoral candidate in the Department of Political Science and Department of Women's, Gender and Sexuality Studies
Moderator will be Robert Haug, assistant professor of history at the University of Cincinnati.
