Learn How to Incorporate Lynda.com Into Your Curriculum
UC students, faculty and staff can access Lynda.com (a LinkedIn company) anytime, anywhere to enhance technology and professional skills. The site features over 5,000 courses on topics such as Microsoft Office, business skills, IT skills and much more. With constantly growing content, updated weekly, Lynda offers the training necessary to stay ahead of the curve.
If all this good news is overwhelming, no worries. Weve got your back. Come and learn from Laurie Burruss on all the different ways this tool can be used to supplement your work.
Laurie is a professor emeritus at Pasadena City College and a consultant in education at Lynda.com where shes advocated for academic initiatives, supported teaching and learning, and provided integration and implementation solutions since 2009. Laurie will also be meeting with student groups to discuss how to best utilize courses in professional development and courses to assist and prepare them for current UC classes.
Sessions will be offered on March 31:
- All-campus session (faculty focused): 9:30 a.m.-11 a.m. in 400C TUC
