Communiversity Serves Up New Partnership

Brian Clark, director of tennis at Eastern Hills Indoor Tennis Club, has been incredible to work with and he is excited to welcome UC Communiversity students to his club! EHI opened in 1971 and its goal of providing a clean and comfortable club with top quality courts and programming has never changed.

We scheduled five-week sessions for intermediates starting Nov. 12 and eight-week sessions starting Jan. 7 for both beginner and intermediate players. The court time is set aside exclusively for Communiversity students. The fee is less than $20/week and each lesson lasts 1 ½ hours.  Our classes are limited to 12 people for the intermediate class and 8 people for the beginner’s class, so register early to ensure your spot!

UC’s Ground Floor Makerspace births combat robots

April 17, 2024

In the heart of UC's 1819 Innovation Hub lies the Ground Floor Makerspace, an advanced and active hub of ingenuity where students, faculty and the community converge to bring their ideas to life. This includes being the birthplace of robots much like miniature race cars, combating fender to fender in an enclosed boxing ring. Combat robots like UC's Maximizer will again be fighting for first place in the National Havoc Robot League (NHRL) competition, slated for April 20.
