UC Clermont 5K Walk/Run for Scholarships
UC Clermont College will host its first ever UC Clermont 5K Walk/Run for Scholarships on Saturday, October 25 at 9 a.m. on Front Wheel Drive (newly named Jim Sauls Drive) in Batavia. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. in the Clermont Senior Services Parking lot.
Awards will be given for top walkers and runners. Join us for the race, groove to tunes from DJ Dave and get a free T-shirt and breakfast after the race!
Bring your family and friends challenge your colleagues and students, all for a great cause, said Meredith Delaney, director of development at UC Clermont College and race organizer. Today, students face many financial barriers when attending college. This is a great opportunity for the community to give back and help our students achieve their academic goals, while having fun! Delaney said.
Race registration is $15 for all students (in advance, $20 day of the race) $20 adults in advance (online by 10/22/08, postmarked by 10/17/08) or $25 the day of the race (postmarked after 10/17/08). Race registration is available online at

Artists from Cincinnati-based Queen City Clay will display their work in a new exhibit, “Eighteen Years in Service,” April 1-June 27 in the University of Cincinnati Clermont College Art Gallery. The artists will also be on hand for a reception Friday, April 12, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. All UC Clermont Art Gallery events are free and open to the public.
