The College of Evening and Continuing Education is trying to reactivate the CECE
Alumni Association. An organizing committee of 25 people spent the summer exploring
how to make this an organization that will serve the interests of the more than 2,000
dues-paying members in the parent UC Alumni Association.
The CECE Alumni Association will kick off its first celebration for current and potential members with
Homecoming on Saturday, Oct. 28. CECE alumni are invited to join the parade at 11
a.m. and walk with members who will carry a banner to identify alumni. In addition to
the parade, the organization will have a special table set up in the alumni tent, tickets
will be available for the alumni luncheon carnival, and an information reception will be
held Oct. 28, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in French Hall. A block of tickets has been reserved for
CECE alumni to sit together as UC takes on Miami at 2 p.m. For more information
