University of Cincinnati Closes at 6 p.m.

Local news update: Cincinnati's curfew will continue until further notice. Other neighboring cities have imposed curfews as well.
The University of Cincinnati will continue to close from 6 p.m. to 8 a.m. as long as the Mayor's curfew remains in effect.
April 12, 2001 Announcement
Cincinnati - The University of Cincinnati, to cooperate with the curfew declared by Cincinnati Mayor Luken , will close all of its campuses in the City of Cincinnati and its Clermont and Raymond Walters branch campuses on Thursday, April 12, at 6 p.m.
All campus activities -- including classes, performances, and special events -- scheduled after 6 p.m. are canceled.
The only exceptions are the emergency services provided for in the University of Cincinnati Emergency Closing Policy.
Board plan food service will be available in UC residence halls until 8 p.m. and reopen at 7 a.m. Friday morning. Retail food outlets will close at 6 p.m.
Special note
The College of Medicine and Medical Sciences Library will be closed at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 12 and will re-open at 8 a.m. Friday, April 13, to comply with Mayor Luken's declared curfew, with the exception of the essential offices listed below:
Service/patient care units that routinely operate on a 7-day per week, 24-hour per day service schedule.
Any research unit where the integrity of the research must be
preserved.
The University will continue to close from 6 p.m. to 8 a.m. as long as the Mayor's curfew remains in effect.
