Cammy Dierking to Serve as Parade Grand Marshal

WKRC-TV news anchor Cammy Dierking will be grand marshal of the University of Cincinnati Homecoming Parade, which kicks off at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 28. The parade will form along Calhoun Street and proceed west on Calhoun to Clifton Avenue, then north on Clifton to Martin Luther King Drive and then east on Martin Luther King to Campus Drive where the parade will end.
Dierking is co-anchor of WKRC TV's "Good Morning Cincinnati," "12 News This Morning," and "12 News at Noon." Her father, Connie Dierking, played basketball for the UC Bearcats and the NBA's Cincinnati Royals, and later did color commentary for the UC Bearcats.
Cammy Dierking is an active member of the Cincinnati community and serves on the Boards of Directors for the SIDS Alliance, Hamilton County Special Olympics, Women's Sports Association, Easter Seal Society, Steeping Stones, Christ Hospital SportsMedicine Institute, and the Cincinnati Center for Developmental Disorders.
Dierking joined WKRC TV in 1988 after previously working as a sportscaster in Raleigh, North Carolina and Reno, Nevada.
