New Policy on IT Management
within University Open for Review

The University Computer Policy Task Force has drafted a General Policy on Information Technology Management, which is now available for general discussion. The draft of the policy can be viewed at http://www.ucit.uc.edu/department/genpolicy.asp

Fred Siff, Vice President for Information Technology, announced that the public comment period will extend through Feb. 1, 2001 to give everyone sufficient time to read, review and comment, as appropriate, on the draft policy.

The General Policy on Information Technology Management is a companion policy to the recently revised university policy on IT usage. That policy can be viewed at http://www.uc.edu/ucit/itgenpolicy.html
