Students looking for some extra cash and a job that's convenient should plan to attend the first UC Sudent Job Fair from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10 in the Event Pavilion.
More than 25 departments from around campus will have representatives who are looking for student workers. The pay ranges from $5.75 to $10 an hour, and employers will schedule students around their clas schedules.
Students will be able to review job descriptions for the hundreds of positions available and submit an application right there.
Alecia Trammer, director of Employment Services, cooridinated the fair. She hopes to make it an annual event. Students can pick up and complete applications before the fair. The applications are available in the following locations:
Career Development Center
Langsam Library
College of Business Administration
African American Cultural and Research Center
University Hall, Suite 300
