About the UCDP
Part of the University Libraries, the UCDP has developed its own publication software known as CUrator and research publications dealing with the American West. The UCDP's first publication, George Catlin: The Printed Works, was released in 1998. The publication was revised and issued in the CUrator software in 2000, along with James Otto Lewis' The Aboriginal Portfolio: The Complete Edition.
The Digital Press publications have made national news in Choice, The Chronicle of Higher Education and American Libraries.
The UCDP has a production staff of five in University Libraries:

Marie Scheponick, assistant editor/assistant business manager
Ron Frommeyer, assistant to the director
Student assistants: Kris Korhagem and Don Trishe Jarmon.
The UCDP publications, George Catlin: The Printed Works and James Otto Lewis' The Aboriginal Portfolio: The Complete Edition, each come in a set of two CD-ROMS for $499. The UCDP's newest publication, McKenney & Hall's History of the Indian Tribes of North America: The First Issue, comes in a three-disk publication for $499. Collectors and researchers who purchase one title for the full price can order the other titles at a discounted price of $299 each.

C. Szwedzicki: The North American Indian Works -- American Indian art of the 19th and 20th centuries.
