Global Design Rankings Place UC at No. 3 in the World


Just-released global rankings of the best international design programs place UC at No. 3. The rankings by Business Insider were based on surveys of design professionals, those working in the field and doing the hiring.

UC ingot   Business Insider is just out with its global design rankings based on surveys of art directors, product designers and others who obtained a design education.

The business outlet was interested in asking a simple question: Which school is best suited to get you the design job you want?

The result was a list of the world's 25 top design programs, and the University of Cincinnati's College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning (DAAP) placed No. 3 on that list. In fact, UC is the top-ranked public university on this prestigious list.

In order, the top design programs were
  1. Massachusetts Institute of Technology
  2. Rhode Island School of Design
  3. University of Cincinnati
  4. Carnegie Mellon University
  5. Parsons The New School of Design
  6. Pratt Institute
  7. Royal College of Art, London
  8. Stanford University
