Cincinnati-- The University of Cincinnati Real Estate Roundtable kicks off its 2000-01 series on Friday, Oct. 6 with a program on the New Economy, co-sponsored by Deloitte & Touche. Keynote speakers will be Johnathan Holifield, vice president of the New Economy Enterprise at the Greater Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce, and Dan Meyer, president and CEO of Copernus and chair of the newly formed New Economy Project Team.
Holifield and Meyer will discuss the formation of the city's New Economy Project Team and its plans to make the region a competitor in the e-business and dot.com economy, while emphasizing how essential it is for Cincinnati to keep up with the changing trends in the economy as impacted by the Internet.
The keynote will be followed by a general session on the "Changing Landscape of Digital Tenants" and a choice of two breakout sessions.
