MainStreet Pavilions Spring Into Reality this Fall

Construction temporary pavilions to house key campus services
and student life offices during construction of the new Campus
Life complex is well underway.
 The first of several MainStreet
pavilions is nearing completion outside Braunstein Hall. The
Student Government Pavilion is being built by Mardis and Meehan
General Contractors. A large Dining Pavilion will provide
several food service options on Baldwin Quad, and two Student
Life Pavilions will be built on Brodie Plaza. All of those
structures are scheduled to open in January 2001, replacing
facilities now housed in the Tangeman University Center. An
Event Pavilion and Preview Pavilion are also in the works. They
are both expected to be open by Spring 2001.

November 1st on McMicken Commons. Information will also be
distributed throughout Homecoming weekend. If you want a
