Artist Patrick Dougherty and volunteers completed the "Home Work" sculpture near UC's West Campus main gate on Friday, April 19.

Flood lights have been added to the scene to illuminate the new sculpture, which is made of hundreds of willow and maple saplings, at night.

Around lunch time, communication professor Michael Porte took his intercultural communication students outside to have a look. The students walked around the sculpture, inside and out. By the time the work was finished, it became a new place for students to relax and sprawl in the grass nearby, right. Dougherty
