The University of Cincinnati Health and Wellness Fair will be held in conjunction with the Student Activities Fair Wednesday, Oct. 2, from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. at Sigma Sigma Commons and the Event Pavilion. The events are sponsored by the UC Wellness Center, Recreational Sports, Student Activities Board and MainStreet.
Kirsten Lupinski, director of the UC Wellness Center, says the Health and Wellness Fair will have more than 50 booths that will hold information on campus and community wellness services. Free glucose testing, blood pressure readings, osteoporosis screenings and mini-massages will be available. Students, faculty and staff can also try out a climbing wall that will be at the Health and Wellness Fair.
At the Student Activities Fair, representatives from more than 70 student organizations will be promoting their clubs and organizations.
Students who attend the fair can participate in raffles that offer one free quarter of tuition to in-state students, a free month of parking on campus, tickets to a UC Bearcats football game or gift certificates from local restaurants.
