Pop Group Vertical Horizon Comes to UC

Every spring, the University of Cincinnati holds a weeklong event Worldfest to celebrate UC's diversity in global study, research and culture. As part of Worldfest 2001, a concert featuring the pop rock group, Vertical Horizon is open to the UC community and to the public at 7 p.m. Friday, May 4 at Shoemaker Center. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.
The concert will feature three bands: Amory, special guest Sister Hazel, and the headliner, Vertical Horizon. Tickets for UC students are on sale now at a cost of $10. The student tickets are available only at the UC ticket office in Shoemaker Center. Students must have their ID and can purchase up to four tickets.
Tickets for the public, as well as for UC faculty and staff, cost $17 and go on sale Saturday, April 7 at all TicketMaster locations. Tickets can be ordered by phone at (513) 562-4949, or through the Web at www.ticketmaster.com
