The Office of the University Architect and the Lange Wheeler Design Group, have produced two interactive campus maps to help keep the UC community and the general public up to date on changes related to ongoing construction projects. A west campus map was put online in January. A map of the UC Medical Center and east campus is now available as well.
The map includes a current view of UC's main campus and a special key that allows users to pick and choose the information they need. For example, you can find all Help Phones, the most accessible route for the handicapped, or parking simply by selecting those features on the map key. You can also "fast forward" to see what the campus will look like in the future.
For those unfamiliar with campus, a buildings list is provided. Select a building name, and that building lights up on the map. A third portion of the interactive key provides information about the temporary MainStreet pavilions and their services.
To access the map's feature, you need:
Netscape 4.7 or newer
Internet Explorer 5 or newer
The Flash 5 plug-in from Macromedia
A 56K modem line or high-speed Internet access
The map will not work through America Online. Those dialing in should have a 56K modem or better.
You can find the west campus map on the architect's web site

Use it online, or download a copy for your Mac or PC. It's available in both formats.
