Our goal is to increase the participation and advancement of women and minorities in STEM fields to encourage the development of a more diverse workforce for the benefit of the University of Cincinnati and its surrounding community. This will result in UC being a destination for highly qualified science and technology faculty that reflect the diversity in our community and who will understand they are valued and will be supported. These practices will lead to institutional loyalty with research and teaching excellence.

Our vision is to create a continuous pipeline that integrates bottom up initiatives targeted to women faculty, top down leadership reform, and advocacy and accountability initiatives with programming and policy change that will provide the sustainable support system necessary to develop women STEM faculty to their fullest potential.
