2015 Annual Essay Contest


What: The Parents & Families Association & Dubois Bookstore are pleased to offer an annual essay contest

When: Essays must be submitted via email on or before the contest deadline

Deadline: Friday, July 31, 2015 by noon

Where: Submit essays to   

Who: Open to all students whose parent or family member have membership in the Parent & Family Association

How: Contest rules for eligibility:

·         Essay must be 500-600 words in length

·         Essay must have students name & M#

·         Essay must have Parents & Families membership number

·         Essay must be submitted as a word document

Prompt: Explain what cultural diversity means to you? How will its impact benefit you at the University of Cincinnati and beyond?

Contest Prize: Top three essays will receive $500 gift cards to Dubois Bookstore, 4th and 5th place will receive $50 gift cards to Dubois Store.

Notification: Winners will be notified by Friday, August 14, 2015

Essays will be judged on the basis of a thorough and well-organized response to. Top three winners will be posted on our website.
