ICP/MS product lines in the university, environmental, forensic, petrochemical, and

pharmaceutical laboratories.

 

Florida Department of Law Enforcement (June 1988 - January 1990)

Crime Laboratory Analyst Supervisor, Pensacola Regional Crime Laboratory

Supervising Drug Chemistry, Toxicology, Serology, and Evidence Intake sections

of the laboratory.  Duties included preparing annual budgets for each section, annual

performance appraisals, development of performance standards for thirteen analysts, and

toxicological analysis. Acted as the Laboratory Director in his absence.

 

Florida Department of Law Enforcement (October 1986 – June 1988)

Senior Crime Laboratory Analyst, Pensacola Regional Crime Laboratory

Employment consisted of writing specifications for laboratory instrumentation utilized in establishing Toxicology services for Northwest Florida, training new toxicologist, development of new analytical methods, and toxicological analysis.

 

            Florida Department of Law Enforcement (April 1985 – October 1986)

            Crime Laboratory Analyst, Orlando Regional Crime Laboratory

Responsibilities encompassed the analysis of biological specimens for the presence of alcohol, drugs, and poisons and testifying as an expert witness to analytical findings.

Miami Valley Regional Crime Laboratory, Dayton, OH (Sept 1983 – April 1985)

Laboratory Analyst involved the isolation and identification of solid dosage drugs and blood/urine alcohol analysis.  Laboratory findings were defended in a court of law, as an expert witness.

 

            Montana Division of Forensic Science, Missoula, MT (May – August 1983)

Internship consisted of laboratory work involving instrumental analysis in Drug Chemistry, Toxicology, Serology, and Comparative Microscopy.
