Research

Research is a systematic study of a specific topic that results in an intellectual or creative contribution to the discipline. It encompasses expanding your knowledge and understanding of people as well as activities aimed at interpreting and enhancing their environment. Such intellectual or creative contributions are often documented in essays, posters, slide decks, look books, recordings and more.

Many students engage in research as part of a course or apprenticeship-style experience with a professor or other research professional. Having research experience can deepen your understanding of what you are learning in the classroom and develop skills that will help you in your healthcare career. Below is a listing of several different research opportunities offered through UC as well as nationally.
